Based in Dresden, Heliatek GmbH, is the world's leading company for flexible, organic photovoltaics for integration into various building materials. For this reason, we are looking for dedicated solar pioneers who are ready to break new ground. Heliatek currently employs around 200 people at its locations in Dresden and Ulm.
To support our team, we are looking for a
Your tasks:
- Design and implementation of reliable characterisation methods for the mobility and recombination rates in solar cells
- Implement a joint experimental-theoretical approach to device characterisation
- Use drift-diffusion modelling and experimental results to help understand and overcome current limitations of OPV
- Support the chemistry and stack development R&D teams translating your findings into product improvements
- Support large-scale statistical analysis of our extensive material library
Your profile:
- Successful completion of a doctorate in Physics or material science with a focus on Organic Photovoltaic or a closely related field
- Experience of device-level modelling and characterisation
- You appreciate interdisciplinary cooperation and have a hands-on mentality
- You are able to effectively communicate key results to other non-specialist scientists and willing to work as part of a team
- A high sense of responsibility and conscientiousness in the execution and documentation of your work
- You appreciate interdisciplinary collaboration and have a hands-on mentality
- Your profile will be rounded off by very good communication skills, supported by fluent English skills
