Job Description:
- Engage with customers to understand their requirements, define product specifications, and provide suitable system-level product support.
- Support qualification testing at customer sites upon request.
- Communicate with customers throughout the equipment design cycle and coordinate internal cross-functional collaboration.
- Understand power supply charger designs to ensure rational application and proper adoption of components, especially considering their lifecycle state, regulatory, and compliance status (e.g., RoHS, REACH, UL, CE, VDE, etc.).
- Conduct root cause analysis of component failures, identify failure mechanisms, and develop countermeasures.
- Support and coach sales/customers on technical subjects such as datasheet interpretation, alternative selection, application specialties, field failures, and manufacturing issues.
- Standardize technical documents (test plans, reports, guidelines, etc.), create documentation templates, and optimize related processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Must-Have:
- Strong technical writing skills and communication ability in English and Chinese (German is a plus).
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in switch-mode power supply (SMPS) design, including topology, characterization, testing methods, safety standards, and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of electronic components, including operating principles, equivalent models, electrical characteristics, and application constraints, especially in power electronics.
- 2+ years of experience in design, sustaining, manufacturing, or testing of industrial or commercial electronic products.
- Good understanding of component construction, including physical structure, types, classifications, materials, fabrication, and packaging.
- Proficiency in schematic and circuit analysis, component function evaluation, and electrical stress analysis.
- Proven experience in electronic component qualification, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with electronics design, manufacturing processes, lab instruments, and industrial norms.
- Experience in project management, quality & reliability control, supplier engagement, and cross-team collaboration is desirable.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint); experience with Power Platform is a strong plus.
- Detail-oriented, result-driven, and passionate about continuous improvement.
